What was going on during the Joe Rogan podcast?

Today, a Facebook friend became quite interested in the recent Joe Rogan podcast featuring Terrance Howard and Eric Weinstein.

I'm always up for examining an astrology chart and was inspired to look at Terrance Howard and Eric Weinstein's natal charts and transits for 1st July 2024.

My Facebook friend then suggested I take a deeper look at both Howard and Weinstein's birth charts and transits. Challenge accepted!

Below, you will find the birth charts of both Howard and Weinstein for the day the podcast was uploaded. Unfortunately, we don't have a birth time for either, which means I'm unable to analyse angles, houses and moon placements this time around.

What follows isn't a look into the wider personalities of either Howard or Weinstein - it's simply a snapshot of 1st July 2024. In all honesty, I haven't watched the podcast—this is a purely astrological perspective.

Please excuse my usual note-style ramblings. What can I say? I'm an impatient Mars rising - I'm never going to be polished and pristine in my presentation.

Terrance Howard

Firstly, we can see transit Saturn playing a part in both charts. For Weinstein, this is conjunct to Chiron and for Howard, it is conjunct natal Sun.

There is something about Howard that is bringing up an old wound for Weinstein. This wound would have been dramatic and life-changing as it opposes his natal Uranus/Pluto. I sense this wound is related to Weinstein's own personal sense of certainty around his higher studies. This wound is driving Weinstein to challenge Howard.

Howard's sense of creativity is being challenged with Saturn conjunct his Sun and opposing natal Pluto. This could be a bit of an ego reality check for him.

The next big player by transit is Neptune, which is conjunct Howard’s natal Chiron/North Node and opposes his natal Jupiter/Uranus. He is facing a massive and sudden wounding experience.

For Weinstein, transit Neptune has completed a grand water trine in his chart, including his natal Jupiter and Sun. Weinstein's sense of ego is off the charts, and he may not be seeing himself clearly.

Further to these big players in both charts, I see Howard being impacted by some more personal transits.

Jupiter is opposing his natal Mars in Sagittarius, suggesting he is facing a challenge in how he communicates his higher mind.

Also, transit Chiron is conjunct his natal Saturn/Venus, which suggests a wound is being created around Howard’s earning potential or other financial matter. This is well-aspected by Mercury, which gives him the ability to talk through this potential wound and to be heard.

Taking all of the above into consideration, I see Weinstein as being quite driven to challenge Howard. I see Howard taking a back seat in the conversation, but he still has the potential to make his point.
